The PTI Subject Mark 2026
We are delighted to announce that out English, Geography, Maths and Science departments have been awarded The PTI Subject Mark for 2026. The Mark acknowledges a department’s work as a member of the Department Development Programme over the last year. Members commit to developing a challenging curriculum, enthusing pupils through extra-curricular subject-based activities, enriching teachers’ own subject knowledge and encouraging subject links. The English, Geography, Maths and Science departments have been awarded the Mark in recognition of their achievement across these four key development areas which place subject at the heart of teaching.

Enrichment Timetables
We are excited to announce that the Extra-Curricular timetables for this Term are now available.
Whether you’re into Sports, Arts, Sciences, or something in between, there’s something for everyone.
Take this opportunity to explore new activities, meet new friends, and develop your skills outside the classroom.
Could you become a Parent Governor?
We are looking for a new Parent Governor to join our Academy Governing Body.
This is a great opportunity to play an active role in supporting our Academy and helping to shape its future. You don’t need previous governor experience or a background in education, just a willingness to contribute, ask questions and share your perspective as a parent/carer.
Full support and guidance will be provided.
Please contact info@skinnerskent.org.uk to apply or for further information. Applications close on Friday 25 September 2026.
